At Nifty Fixes North East, we take great pride in our workmanship and the quality of the products we supply. We provide a comprehensive 12-month warranty on all products supplied by us and our installation services, effective from the date of completion.

Guarantee (Workmanship) & Product Support

We take pride in our workmanship and aim to put things right quickly if something isn’t as it should be.

1. Workmanship guarantee (voluntary)

We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee from completion. This covers defects arising directly from our workmanship/installation (e.g., items becoming loose, misaligned or inoperable due to fitting), unless your signed contract/estimate states otherwise.

2. Products supplied by us

Where we supply products/materials, any manufacturer warranty (if provided) applies in addition to our workmanship guarantee. We will pass on relevant warranty information where available and, where appropriate, help with the warranty process.

3. What is not covered (examples)

Not covered includes:

  • accidental damage, misuse, vandalism or neglect
  • normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes that do not affect function
  • faults caused by third-party alterations/repairs/adjustments
  • faults caused by customer-supplied products/materials
  • pre-existing defects or underlying issues outside the original scope (unless agreed as a variation)

4. Non-warranty service charges

If we attend and the issue is not covered, a non-warranty service charge may apply. Typical charge: £60 (VAT not applicable unless our VAT status changes). We will confirm any charge before attendance where possible.

5. Who can claim / transferability

This guarantee is provided to the original customer named on the invoice/contract and does not automatically transfer to a new owner/occupier.

6. How to make a claim

Email hello@niftyfixesne.co.uk and include:

  • invoice number / job reference
  • date of completion
  • description of the issue and photos where possible

7. Statutory rights

This guarantee is provided in addition to and does not affect any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
