Project Overview

The project began with the discovery of a significant issue: an unnoticed, slow-drip leak within this bathroom. This problem had led to extensive damage, specifically resulting in completely rotted floorboards and a corresponding section of water-damaged ceiling in the room directly beneath. To properly mitigate the risk of mould and future structural issues, we had no choice but to completely rip up the existing floor. We then left the area open for several days, utilizing air circulation and dehumidifiers, to ensure the. This structural repair was followed by the installation of a moisture-resistant underlay, upon which we finally laid a fresh, new layer of flooring to complete the restoration.
